I’ve been using these tyres for a few years now. I’m on my 4th pair.
Why change to an unknown when I’m 90% happy with what I already use?
In terms of value for money, these tyres can’t be beaten. They’re cheaper than other premium brands AND I get better mileage out of them.
On my bike the rear wears out just before the front. There’s not much in it so I always replace front and rear at the same time.
The tyres wear evenly across the width, with a barely noticeable right-side bias due to U.K. road camber.
Grip, wet or dry, is good but most importantly they just “feel right” all the time.
The only negative I can think of is that they slide readily on tar overbanding where a road has been repaired. So I pick my line through corners carefully if there’s any overbanding about. Occasionally I still hit some, but it’s just a short distance slide until the tyre grips again on the road surface. No drama.
I’m sure there are better tyres to be had but for a big, heavy bike (and rider!) ridden like I ride these are more than good enough.
